The two were born just two days apart. Jia was born on June 3 while Zuri was born June 5. Because of their unique bond, their mothers decided to have a joint birthday celebration. This made the girls think that they’re twins despite having different skin colors.

In one Facebook page, the parents shared their heartwarming story. According to one of their moms, the two were lining up to get face painting. Jia told the kids around that they are twins. However, one girl said that they could not be twins because they have different complexions. Although Jia got teary eyed with what she heard, she insisted that they are twins because aside from having the same birthdays, they also share the same soul.
On November 5, 2017, the story of Jia and Zuri became viral, and they did not expect the responses that they would get. Numerous people sent their pictures and shared their “BFF” stories just like the two girls. Another pair of BFFs were touched by Jia and Zuri’s story. They offered to bring the kids to the World of Coca-Cola and Georgia Aquarium.
The kid’s parents said that they always know that nothing can break the special bond between the two girls.
