Aside from being in love, Sarah and Steve have one more binding trait – they both like decorating things. They want the best look for all things.
The couple has one son named Ikea. And same with his parents, Ikea showed utmost interest in quilting things.
A couple of years ago, the family moved to California. But even if they transferred to another place, the couple’s interest in beautifying things remains.
Sarah recalled that when they acquired the new house, almost all corners needed to be fixed. From the ceiling down the floor, the details are not pleasing to the eyes.
Without wasting much of time, Sarah made her move. While her husband was at work and his son was at school, she spent the whole day fixing things at home. Little by little, the house became truly beautiful.
All the messy corners were cleared, except the creepy spot. It was an abandoned stockroom the couple found near their son’s room. When they opened the room, they saw broken linoleum floors, damaged walls, and rotten woods. The couple was shocked by the ruins they found.
Since fixing the room was not easy, the couple decided to hide the spot. They thought placing their son’s dress cabinet over the spot would be a great fix.
As a present to their son during his 4th birthday, the couple thought of a creative way. They planned to convert the creepy room into a “Treasure Room”. A place where their son could study and enjoy all things that he wants while at home.
The couple worked in silence. And during the birthday of their son, Sarah and Steve gave the best surprise.
