When she’s not blogging for the ‘net, June loves cuddling with her cats and reading in her library at home.
Mark Freely recently brought his two rescue dogs down to the water at the Long Island Sound. All of the sudden Storm, his English golden retriever, took off running.
Storm plunged into the waters and started swimming over to a strange brown mass. Mark quickly realized a young deer was drowning — and he witnessed Storm rushing to grab the baby by the neck and safely swim it back to shore!
Thankfully, Mark caught whole thing on camera. It&’s no surprise the incredible footage is quickly going viral.
Storm followed behind the fawn as it reached the shore, laid next to it and started nudging it. He wanted to make sure it was okay.
Mark called the rescue crew to check on the baby deer, but moments later, he realized another (and much scarier) rescue was about to take place.
Dogs are truly amazing creatures. Please SHARE Storm&’s heroic story with your friends on Facebook!
