As what actually happened on that is explained on the internet and lectures, when the plant was reactor melted down as it was getting overheated and thus this plant caused the explosions and result in the worst nuclear disaster of the human history, the carbon monoxide wake its burned for the nine complete days, for the purpose of cleaning the robots were sent to the site as this place was very dangerous for the human health no one can survive in there for a single minute.

Thus later techniques are developed and so that man can survive in these places and human are sent there for cleaning this all mess, liquidators are these brave members who gets in this hell and they have faced lots of problems while doing this task as this was not an easy task to do

According to the report it is stated that thousands of man were only able to work for only 40 seconds before they could reach to the maximum lifetime dose of the radiation. Later every single person who was the part of this liquidator team got cancer
