Mom Finds Vanishing Money in Toy Cash Register

How do you react when things go missing? Have you had the experience of things disappearing as if you just imagined things?

No matter how you search for the money, you just can’t find it, and you start thinking that it’s all in your head. Well, not really. If you have kids around, then they can be the culprit.

If you’ve ever had kids around, then you know that they’re going to touch anything that they fancy.

Another thing is that they have this tendency to mistake everyday items as mere playthings. In that case, there should literally be a thousand places in the house for them to hide things.

A mother of three, Rachel Thornhill, had no clue at all what happened to her money. The one thing she knew was that she was mysteriously losing money from her purse.

The funny thing is that Rachel eventually found her missing cash in one of the weirdest yet one of the likeliest places she would find money. This mother, who blogs regularly at Staying Sane As A Mummy of 3, found the missing cash amounting to £67.85 in her daughter’s toy till!

When Rachel couldn’t find the missing £20 notes, she thought it was about time she looked for the money. She had actually already given up. Then she composed herself and checked her 4-year-old Esme’s toys and voila! There was the money!

Rachel thought that Esme must have been making a lot of money from plastic sweet corn toys and toy cans of fake alphabet soup. Esme must have also observed how her mom kept her money. She then learned to take it out of her mom’s purse and hide it in her toy till.

In fact, Esme’s one-year-old little brother also wants to join the supermarket game, but he is still too young. The good thing is that Rachel finally got her money back and the kids are all fine.

The story about the missing cash got around 11,000 reactions when Rachel shared it on Facebook. It also got 3,255 shares.
