But does anybody really know what happens in the delivery room? There are only several strong-willed individuals who take on the challenge of taking care of a laboring woman.
Katie Lacer, a birth photographer and mother of 3, captures all the special moments inside the labor room. Hehe has shared incredibly touching pictures that tell the story of the woman who gave birth and the nurses.
One certain picture showing a nurse assisting a mom postpartum caught the attention of the internet.
The photo features Jennifer Hawkins, a new mom undergoing postpartum, assisted by Dawn Moravec, RN from Clark Memorial Hospital.
Jill Krause from Baby Rabies posted the picture and shared her own story about the nurses who helped her during her own delivery. She shared about how the nurses took care of her and treated her very well.
Jill’s post earned 82,000 reactions, 5,000 comments, and 48,000 shares.
Thousands of mothers also shared their heartwarming stories about nurses helping them throughout their deliveries. Another mother, Lauren Self, commented to share her own story about her rainbow baby boy. .
Nurses willingly leave their families to take care of those that are not even their relatives.
They help in assuring that pregnant women are able to deliver their babies safe and sound.
They do this not because it’s their job, but because they want to make a difference.
