Pink Gave Some Meaningful Words About Being A Non-Winner

Pink is considered as one of the music industry’s most influential artists of her time. In her two-decade career in music, she has been nominated almost annually, and also, she has already brought home three Grammy awards. Just like the most of the nominees, the 2018 Grammy’s was not her night to bring home a new trophy.

In the 2018 Grammy’s red carpet entrance, Pink gorgeously walked-in wearing an Armani feathered gown. She was with her mom, her husband, and her 6-year-old daughter, Willow. Ed Sheeran was her co-nominee together with Kelly Clarkson, Kesha, and Lady Gaga for the ‘Best Pop Solo’ category. Sheeran won in the said category, although he was not there to personally receive the award.

After Sheeran’s representative received the award, Pink temporarily owned the stage for a power belting performance of her song ‘Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken.’ She was not in her feathered branded gown, but Pink instead appeared on stage wearing an all-white semi see-through off-shoulder blouse and a loose pair of denim jeans. She still performed exceptionally and waved at Willow who’s watching her together with her hubby and mom.

In an Instagram post, together with some photos from the event, she expressed how happy she was with the result. She recalled comforting a co-nominee from a defeat. She also shared her daughter’s favorite artists whom she finally met because of the event like Rihanna. Pink couldn’t be prouder of her barefoot performance in the tune of the song she wrote.

Her defeat has never been a reason for her to not extend her gratitude for everything. Pink’s followers showered her with comments of love and admiration for the heart-warming post and performance. They thanked her for being such a constant inspiration whatever the situation is. She is indeed an artist that we can look up to.
