At times, the world seems hostile and sinister, but always remember that there is much more goodness in it than bad. An example is what Ohio Deputy Ali Muntean did when she found a local boy named Davonte not being able to take a ride to school. With no hesitation, the police officer urgently offered the 12-year-old boy a ride in her police car.
She made sure that Davonte was safely seated in the front seat and not on the probably scary back seat of the patrol vehicle. The act of kindness didn’t end there as Deputy Ali also treated him to a good breakfast in McDonald’s. The whole scenario was captured and posted on the Facebook page of Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
In the post, it says that Davonte didn’t have a ride to school as his mom was undergoing medical care. Deputy Ali stated that she enjoyed the boy’s company and assured him to never think twice about asking for a ride or even breakfast anytime. Deputy Ali and Davonte will take another journey to school on Thursday.

Their story on Facebook went viral as many people in the same community shared the good experience with Deputy Muntean. A comment by Nicole Boring shows that they really appreciate the good deeds of Deputy Ali and her husband as resource officers.
In an interview with Little Things, she said that she was inspired by her fellow officers, especially her husband, in doing such generous acts to people who need help. She highlighted that she hadn’t done anything special in helping others because any police officer around the country will do the same.
